Established in 1984 under the Artistic Direction of Miss Bonnie Cokinos the Beaumont Ballet Theatre is committed to "Excellence in Dance." 23 seasons of the ballet Cinderella have enchanted audiences and free school shows are provided as the dance company's gift to the children of Southeast Texas. The BBT is a member of Regional Dance America and Miss Bonnie is a member and past National President of Dance Masters of America.

The Julie Rogers Theatre in Beaumont is a magnificent facility that is home to the Symphony of Southeast Texas as well as presentations by the Beaumont Civic Opera, the Beaumont Civic Ballet and the Beaumont Ballet Theatre. Barishniknov has danced on this stage, Roberta Peters and Van Cliburn have both performed here. Sophisticated audiences appreciate the elegant appointments and the continental seating. Concerts, theatrical productions, dance presentations, lectures, and large meetings are equally well served by this theatre, which has been declared an historic building and is, therefore, amusement-tax-exempt.
